Yep, that's disclaimer text on the cover. To diverge the way I wanted, I needed to rewrite what happened in one of the DDP stories. I reached out to the publishers, and they gave me permission! Their response is in the "About" section.  Because of that success, I started reaching out to Marvel/Hasbro. If I get a response, I will add that too.
