Issue #5: Arsenal

 

One of the features of the Marvel GI Joe comics was the introduction of some new vehicle or person from the toy line. Arsenal is an homage to this. 

 

The second scene is a back-up feature. Again I built on my divergent history. By then, DDP had introduced the Red Shadows, but I wasn't pleased at all with the storyline. In the original UK stories, Baron Ironblood became Cobra Commander. With mine, I chose to make the Red Shadows be the new extremist offshoot of Cobra, led by a former Crimson Guardsman.
